Typically,
the
spectral imagery data from
high-spatial-resolution, low-spectral-resolution sensors and the
high-spectral
resolution, low-spatial-resolution sensors are treated separately. The
Color
Resolution Improvement Software package (CRISP) combines information
contained
in a low-spatial-resolution hyperspectral image with a
high-spatial-resolution
multi-spectral or panchromatic image in such a way that the resulting
image
product has the spectral characteristics of the hyperspectral image and
the
spatial characteristics of the multi-spectral or panchromatic image.
